It’s been an exciting year for PUMA, not only has the brand made waves with its music partnerships, including the power couple of A$AP Rocky and Rihanna dropping their own shoes, but its PUMA Hoops division continues to shake up the basketball footwear scene too with stars like Breanna Stewart, LaMelo Ball and Scoot Henderson.
Now, a new report from Nick DePaula shares that Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton will begin representing PUMA after signing a “massive multi-year shoe deal” with the brand. Previously, Haliburton was with Nike and became known for wearing Kobes on-court, including during his time on Team USA, which he supported in their gold meal run. What makes the move even more interesting is that Salehe Bembury was announced as a new contributor to PUMA Hoops back in late July, with the beloved designer said to “create a new look and feel within basketball itself,” while aiding with signature shoe development, which may lead to him and Haliburton working together down the line.
Stay tuned for updates regarding Haliburton’s time with PUMA, including any official announcements as the 2024-25 NBA season begins later this month.
