Drawing inspiration from rainy mornings, windy bike rides, and the city’s effortless style, NAKED Copenhagen has officially returned to the Nike archives for its latest collaborative footwear capsule.
Titled “With love, from Copenhagen,” the highly anticipated release reimagines the performance-driven Nike Shox Z and Shox Z Calistra through a distinctly Scandinavian lens. The collaboration is heavily inspired by the city’s wet pavements and stormy skies, offering functional designs built for shifting weather and constant movement. Stine, the Founder and Creative Director of NAKED Copenhagen, noted, “We were eager to build on an archival Nike silhouette, and the Calistra immediately stood out for its seamless blend of sport and elegance.”
Ensuring the sneakers look as good as they perform, the Shox Z Calistra arrives in a stealthy “Black/Black-Off White” makeup, bringing striking sculpted patent leather and metallic accents to the forefront. Meanwhile, the standard Shox Z iteration drops in a sharp “Metallic Hematite/Black” colorway, opting to balance breathable mesh with a sharper, more aggressive edge. Both collaborative models are prominently stamped with NAKED Copenhagen branding, serving as a love letter from the city to the world for the girls who “layer instinctively, and treat the street like a runway, even in 20 kilometre winds.”
The NAKED Copenhagen x Nike Shox Z and Shox Z Calistra are currently scheduled to release on March 9 via NAKED Copenhagen and select retailers.
