HOKA has elevated its Hopara silhouette which “feels like a sandal and functions like a hiker.” Dubbed the Hopara 2, HOKA’s new silhouette continues to establish the footwear supplier as more than just a performance-based line, leaning into a futuristic yet sustainable silhouette.
The Hopara 2 arrives in three earthy colorways – black, forest green and a tan colorway aptly named “Dune” – and takes a future-facing aesthetic, complete with toggle lacing. Backed by an adjustable heel strap, the silhouette leans into mesh detailing, elevating the dystopian design.
However, the Hopara 2 is for more than just casualwear, equipped with all of the essential functionality features to carry wearers through rocky, muddy and downright drenched terrain. The mesh overlays maximize water drainage with durable rubber outsoles and rubber toe caps rounding out the shoe.
Sustainability is also emphasized in the Hopara 2’s design, which comes with a sugarcane-crafted top-sole and midsole, a recycled-knit upper and recycled Cordura mesh overlays.
