Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance‘s partnership has hit its five-year milestone, with many dual-minded footwear releases under its belt. This past fall alone, the duo has dished out new takes on the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 990v4, Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 475 and Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 993. However, to commemorate its fifth anniversary, the East Coast pair is throwing it back to its early days, reviving its OG 997 silhouette for a colorful full-circle moment.
The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Made in USA 997 boasts a multicolored silhouette, defined by its mixed-material makeup, complete with suede overlays, mesh underlays, an ENCAP midsole and rubber outsole.
Ray Winstone leads a new campaign video in honor of the release, honing in on the “love story” of a collaboration between the two brands.
