2023 saw a hefty handful of footwear collaborations for White Mountaineering, who linked up with Merrell and Vans on revamping a slew of each label’s signature models. After kicking off 2024 with a Diemme collab, White Mountaineering is continuing the year with some fresh new takes on three of Timberland’s storied silhouettes: the 3-Eye Lug, the Euro Hiker and, Timberland’s newest silhouette, the Motion Scramble.
True to the ethos of both labels, each of the three shoes is fully waterproof. Recently, the 3-Eye Lug has been the point of sneaker collaboration for many brands, so White Mountaineering had to hop on the wave. The Tokyo-based brand dipped Timberland’s signature style in textured neutral grays and reworked its eyelet design. For the Euro Hiker, White Mountaineering also enveloped the 1988 shoe in its sleek, gray hues, rounding out the outsole in black.
The Motion Scramble is a new silhouette for Timberland, who recently introduced the performance-focused shoe in last month’s Motion Range collection. In White Mountaineering’s take on the versatile shoe, the outdoor label speckles the black-and-white upper and midsole and polishes off the shoe with a triangular white outsole.
The 3-Eye Lug runs for approximately $194 USD, with the Euro Hiker clocking in at $201 USD and the Motion Scramble running for roughly $171 USD. Check out the full lookbook in the gallery above.
Expect the full White Mountaineering x Timberland collection to drop this Friday, March 15, 2024, available at White Mountaineering’s official online store and brick-and-mortar storefronts.
