Tim Hortons is going big for this year’s National Donut Day. The celebration occurs the first Friday of June and Tim Hortons is paying homage to some of its most classic flavors with a special sneaker giveaway. The Canadian coffee chain took to Instagram to reveal that it has been cooking up a collaboration with adidas on its Sambas.
Keeping it in the family, the donut-inspired Sambas are designed by Canadian sneaker customizer Jack Nguyen. The custom Sambas are a nod to the popular donut flavors, Vanilla Dip, Boston Cream, Honey Cruller and Double Chocolate. The Vanilla Dip version sees the shoe take on a tan and brown suede upper featuring a heel counter and tongue with mutli-colored sprinkles. The Boston Cream iteration arrives in a darker tan and brown suede, while Honey Cruller comes in a faded golden tan leather and the Double Chocolate, an all brown suede upper. Each of the shoes feature a co-branded Tim Hortons and adidas Originals Samba label on the tongue as well as a nod to the Canadian branding on the insoles.
This Canadian-exclusive collaboration will be made available by raffle until June 7 at 11:50 p.m. ET. The Tim Hortons x adidas Samba customs are reserved for residents of Canada who are at least 16 years old. Those interested can fill in the form online.
