In the six years since its inception, German fashion imprint RETERNITY has a made name for itself as a premium purveyor of luxe streetwear. The brainchild of friends Tom Schmidt and Lauren Riedel, the ready-to-wear brand expanded its product offerings into the footwear domain with the debut of its first high-end sneaker, LeSkateur, in March of this year. Now, the label has returned to uncover its second shoe design, Le Promeneur.
Handmade in Portugal, the silhouette is made from 100% genuine leather with a destroyed canvas application. Available in both “Black” and “White” colorways, the footwear model boasts a textural upper, with cross-stitched canvas sectionals on each side and wide, furry laces trailing down the center. All of the aforementioned specs sit atop a thick, platform midsole, which adds a dramatic, heightening flair to the overall design.
Notably, the sneaker’s name stands for “the stroller who walks through the streets, fully perceives life and enjoys it to the fullest,” according to the brand.
RETERNITY’s new LePromeneur sneaker is slated to launch on August 11 via the brand’s webstore. At the time of writing, the label has not disclosed the shoe’s official price. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above.
