A$AP Rocky and PUMA have released new images of a pre-distressed Inhale OG. Originally introduced in 2000, the vintage running shoe was reissued by the collaborators last May as part of their Formula 1 partnership.
The new pair maintains the original aerodynamic silhouette released earlier in the year. Playing with a hyperrealistic patina, the uppers use a seemingly undyed khaki twill material, allowing for a worn and torn finish.
For this model, the bold red arch bandage is traded for a beige upper made of varying tones. Yellowed soles accompanied by black skid marks give the pair an authentically aged look and on the tongue an embroidered red “Flacko” logo peaks out.
The rapper tapped PUMA to supply the footwear for his recent AWGE Paris Fashion Week runway, “American Sabotage.” The Inhale OG ties in neatly with his line, which also features several worn-in, disheveled looks.
The A$AP Rocky x PUMA Inhale OG will be available online and in stores on September 26.
