Pas Normal Studios and Salomon are running it back with a fourth collaboration, focused on versatile activewear. The Danish cycling apparel has extended their collaborative effort with Salomon, merges the outdoor spirit of both brands, combining minimalism and functionality for adventurous on and off the bike.
The two-piece collaboration features a new shoe, the DRX DEFY GRVL, that comfortably allows for seamless comfort between asphalt and gravel. The lightweight trainer features an extremely responsive energyFOAM for premium cushioning and rebound with each stride. The sole also features Gravel Grip, inspired by a gravel-tire inspired outsole that is designed with a tread that grips any surface from asphalt to gravel. The second piece in the collaboration is the PNS x Salomon Active Skin 12, a hydration vest that is ultra-secure and features enough chest pockets for two 500mL flasks and two straws. The vest is constructed with combined soft, breathable fabrics, compatible with a 1.5-liter bladder and feature the co-branded signature PNS and Salomon logos. The Road To Nowhere logo on the back rounds out the design.
According to Karl-Oskar Olsen, creative director and co-founder of Pas Normal Studios, “This fourth collaboration, we got the chance to work on an entirely new shoe model that is developed specifically for gravel running as well as a new 12-litre hydration vest – all in colours that form part of Pas Normal Studios’ DNA. It’s been inspiring for us to work with Salomon on products that integrate both brands’ passion for movement and innovation. We have created pieces that not only optimize performance but allow them to explore themselves, the city and path around them.” The collaboration coincides with the launch of PNS’ FW24 Balance line for off-bike training. The limited edition collection drops on October 9 online.
