Palace Skateboards and Vans unveil the Vans Low 2, a limited-edition collaboration engineered for elite impact protection, durability, and grip. The duo is already crowning the low-top silhouette as the skate shoe of the year. Accompanied by a video campaign featuring Vans skate team riders Danny Brady and Rory Milanes, the pair is seen accepting the award at the prestigious S.S.O.T.Y awards. They deliver a stellar tongue-in-cheek speech that celebrates the London-meets-California aesthetic with their expected irreverent humour.
Built on Vans’ most advanced vulcanised low-top platform, the Palace Low 2 is engineered for high-performance utility without sacrificing boardfeel. The build is anchored by PopCush insoles for maximum impact protection and precise board control. Furthermore, the silhouette is reinforced with DuraCap underlays in high-wear zones to increase durability, while Vans’ SickStick rubber and signature waffle outsole provide next-level grip both on and off the board.
Visually, the collaboration arrives in three colourways: black, true white, and yellow. The result is a performance-driven skate shoe that seamlessly merges Vans’ technical skate heritage with Palace’s distinct street and skate sensibility.
The Palace Skateboards and Vans Low 2 drops Friday, February 27 at 11:00 AM in the UK, Europe, and the US, followed by a Saturday, February 28 release at 11:00 AM in Japan, Korea, China, and Australia. The collection will be available via the Palace webstore and physical Palace Skateboards stores.
