Fans of Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe line with Nike Basketball are in for a treat this year as the Kobe 4, 6 and 8 Protro are all poised to make plenty of noise. Looking specifically at the Kobe 8 Protro, it already dropped in its “Court Purple” and “Radiant Emerald” colorways back in February, with upcoming pairs ranging from a “Mambacita” iteration to the return of the “Venice Beach” look. Adding to the list, a “Lakers Home” colorway has now been spotted.
Kicking off the new pair, the sneaker has been equipped with a mostly-white presentation. From there, its Swooshes on each side of the shoe appear in a Lakers-themed “Court Purple” while the lateral heel’s signature detail favors a black finish. “University Gold” enters the mix at the inclusion of Bryant’s logo at both the tongue and heel of the sneaker.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not disclosed when this “Lakers Home” iteration of the Kobe 8 Protro will be touching down on shelves. Stay tuned for updates as it’s currently expected to release later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD.
