New York City is always buzzing and with the recent news of the New York Knicks in the playoffs, the city is on a high. Capitalizing on the buzz, Nike is reveals the latest silhouette to hit the “NY vs NY” series. Last summer, Nike released the KD 16 “NY vs NY” in honor of the annual summer streetball tournament and just last month, the Nike Ja 1 joined the series, gearing up for an early summer release date. The upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low receives its own nod arriving in a similar color scheme to the Nike Ja 1 “NY vs NY.”
The AF1 low-top also sees hues of court blue, hyper pink, aquarius blue and bright mandarin throughout for a vibey summer aesthetic. The shoe is constructed out of the signature white leather upper base while the inner lining is highlighted in the darker blue and the tongue label and the heel in the lighter court blue. The Swoosh is accented in a warm to cool gradient with the orange, pink and blue to match the branding on the lateral heel counter and tongue label. The shoe sits atop a white midsole and semi-translucent court blue rubber outsole to round out the design.
Look out for the Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs NY” arriving later this year at select retailers and online at Nike for $125 USD.
