Nike first revealed its VaporMax silhouette in 2017, which quickly became a hit due to its signature bubble sole for comfort and lightweight body. Although the first iterations were still stringed shoes, the sportswear brand continued to evolve the model with both lace and lace-less variations that allowed for easy wear. One of its latest iterations in the VaporMax family is the Moc Roam, which made its official debut last year. Now it’s getting another update with the new “Cool Grey” colorway – leading into the fall season.
With the VaporMax Roam, the brand still leans into the family’s lightweight body. However, the laceless design leans itself to a slip-on style with elastic ankle contours. Standout design details include the shoe’s two-two crinkle nylon water-resistant upper, which sees hues of cool and stone gray alongside the signature VaporMax bubble sole.
Further complimenting the icy tones, the tongue, pull tabs and rubber sole guard are also done up in gray. Finishing off the shoes is a deep gray Nike Swoosh logo that appears near the heel.
