Nike has unveiled the Air Force 1 “Paris,” a soon-to-be-released silhouette sporting a dark and moody color palette. Despite its name, the newly surfaced colorway isn’t an homage to the Paris Olympics but draws inspiration from the Catacombs under the city.
The upper boasts a smooth leather fabrication with “Petra Brown” dressing middle and toe toebox area. “Black Tea” appears as the toe, lace guard and back, adding a striking yet harmonious contrast to the shoes’s brown-coded look. Meanwhile, the sockliner, tongue, heel and the Swoosh logo are doused in “Black.” Metallic plaques are embedded onto the heel, while subtle patterns gently peek through the translucent outsole.
