October is upon us and as we start to navigate the final quarter of the year, brands are gearing up for plenty of exciting drops. On the feature front, we connected with Ja Morant and Jarrett Mann, the head of design for Nike’s men’s basketball footwear team, to discuss the launch of the Nike Ja 2 before it hit shelves last week. As for special announcements that surfaced, Tom Sachs and Nike revealed that they are again working together and plan to drop the Mars Yard 3.0 in 2025. The .SWOOSH department also took to Instagram with Kai Cenat to reveal the Air Max 1 “Low Poly.” On the rumor side of things, word of three Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Lows being prepared for 2025 hit the net. Speaking of the SB Dunk Low, we got a closer look at what the RIOT Skateshop-designed pair has in store for us.
Jordan Brand was subject to another delayed release, with word of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” being postponed to 2025 disappointing sneakerheads. In more exciting news, Jayson Tatum and the Jumpman team revealed the Jordan Tatum 3 alongside his own Air Jordan 1 Low OG collab.
