By the end of the weekend, hundreds of hardworking American football stars are going to finally have an answer as to where they’ll be taking their talents, whether it be with an NFL team or elsewhere, as the NFL Draft begins this Thursday, on April 25. At the top of the loaded lineup of talent is Marvin Harrison Jr., who is listed as one of the the draft’s top prospects after becoming a two-time unanimous All-American and the 2023 Fred Biletnikoff Award winner as a wide receiver at the Ohio State University.
Now, while Harrison Jr. eagerly awaits the news of which lucky franchise will be drafting him, he has announced that he is New Balance’s latest addition to its roster of world-class athletes. Already, he’s played a key role in teasing the brand’s first American football cleats, and will play a key role in their rollout this year. “I am excited to do the work and build something that will inspire the next generation and help me excel as I enter my professional football career,” Harrison Jr. shared.
New Balance has noted that fans in attendance of the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit will be able to check out their Prodigy and Fortress cleats during a pop-up hosted by Klutch Athletics. Stay tuned for updates as the new silhouettes make a splash on the scene alongside Marvin Harrison Jr. later this year.
