It’s quickly shaping up to be a big year for the Nike Air Foamposite One as the Swoosh continues to back the 1997 silhouette with one release after another. Its “Eggplant” colorway just returned to shelves at the end of February, and with the legendary “Galaxy” look rumored to be returning later this year, there’s plenty for fans of the model to look forward to. Adding to the excitement, a new “Light Orewood Brown” composition has now been revealed.
Officially revealed by Nike, this version of the Air Foamposite One sees the aforementioned light brown hue stretch across the entirety of the silhouette’s signature shell. From there, black arrives at the leather eyestays and mesh collar, with a hit of gold visible at the toe’s Swoosh, matching the golden details at the tongue and heel. Supporting the sneaker, a semi-translucent gum outsole combines with a checkered detail at the midfoot in black and white.
At the time of writing, Nike has yet to specify a release period for this “Light Orewood Brown” iteration of the Air Foamposite One. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect the pair to release later this year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $240 USD.
