Gentle Fullness has joined forces with KEEN to reimagine the outdoor footwear label’s signature Shanti Arts silhouette.

The collaboration introduces two updated iterations of the classic unisex model — both of which are made with an all-new composition that swaps components of the original shoe’s build with sugarcane polymer and recycled materials.

Coming in “Eyes” and “Flowers” patterned finishes, the design flaunts a lightweight injected foam upper and liner, which sits on a foamy midsole with ample cushioning. The insole, which enlists shock-absorbing foam, offers ideal arch support, while the outsole combats outdoor terrain with a rubber build that employs 15% recycled materials. Notably, the shoe’s EVA is made of 50% sugarcane polymer.

Gentle Fullness, the sister brand of Story mfg., is best known for its commitment to reclaiming fabrics from pre-consumer waste and transforming them into wearable pieces. KEEN, meanwhile, has been PFAS-free since 2018, with the intention of leaving a net positive impact on the world through design. Hence, the duo’s collaboration just makes sense.

The Gentle Fullness x Keen Shanti Arts shoes are now available to shop  via Story mfg.’s webstore and select retailers, including Dover Street Market, for £95.00 GBP. Sizes range from UK 3 to UK 11. Take a closer look at the lineup in the gallery above.
