Following the reveal of the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low Protro in “Halo,” Nike is amping up its releases on the coveted silhouette. The highly anticipated return of the “Beethoven” colorway has now surfaced and is expected to drop in spring 2025. The shoe debuted in 2014 and has not made a reappearance since. This Proto version consistently remains the brand’s most original and iconic designs. The shoe is slated to receive a modern upgrade to match the current performance needs of athletes. Arriving in the classic black and white colorway, the “Beethoven” is a nod to Kobe’s admiration for the composer. The shoe combines a palette of black, white and grey, keeping it minimal yet striking. The shoe will sit atop a Nike React cushioning for better responsiveness.
