It’s only April and there’s no denying that the Air Jordan 4 is having one of its biggest years ever. Between the return of beloved colorways like the OG “Military Blue,” the introduction of the “Bred Reimagined” and the upcoming release of its first takedown model — the Air Jordan 4 RM — there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Adding to the excitement, a new “Oxidized Green” rendition of the sneaker has surfaced.
Drawing inspiration from the Air Jordan 14 colorway of the same name, which originally dropped in 1999 and returned in 2016, the Air Jordan 4 “Oxidized Green” features a mostly-white build accented by hits of dark green. Its leather upper shines bright in white while the aforementioned green hue hits the uppermost portion of the midsole, the lacing system’s wings, the shoe’s lining and the Jumpman branding found at both the heel and tongue. A hit of off-white surrounds the visible Air unit as white covers the remainder of the sole.
At the time of writing, we’re still awaiting an official announcement from Jordan Brand regarding the release details of this “Oxidized Green” iteration of the Air Jordan 4. Stay tuned for updates as a complete reveal is likely to take place in the coming weeks, ahead of the sneaker’s expected launch on May 15 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $210 USD.
