The journey to the debut of Jerry Lorenzo’s collaborative Fear of God Athletics line with adidas is one that required much patience from fans. It took nearly three years since the duo’s partnership announcement for its opening season to arrive, with the result seamlessly blending the design languages of the two entities. In addition to the duo’s range of relaxed apparel, various collaborative footwear silhouettes have been served.
Now, the Fear of God Athletics 1 and Los Angeles sneakers are poised to touch down on shelves this weekend in “Clay.” The Fear of God Athletics 1, which was featured in all-white on Christmas Day last year, now appears with the aforementioned brown hue spread across its knit upper and neoprene collar. Its typical Lightstrike midsole supports the sneaker in off-white while Fear of God branding appears at the heel in black. As for the Fear of God Athletics Los Angeles, which was initially spotted last August, it features “Clay” at the suede and ripstop upper, as well as the EVA-backed sole unit.
The Fear of God Athletics 1 and Los Angeles are both set to release in this “Clay” colorway on March 3 at 10am EST via adidas CONFIRMED at prices of $250 USD and $170 USD respectively.
