Not only is a new calendar year nearing, but is almost time to celebrate the Year of the Snake as well. Per usual, Nike will be partaking in the Lunar New Year festivities by presenting several of its flagship silhouettes in thematic colorways. Adding to the roster, the Dunk Low is set to join other sneakers like the Air Force 1 Low and Kobe 5 Protro in donning a “Year of the Snake” colorway.
This new rendition of the Dunk sees it rock a “Medium Olive” hue across its leather base while the overlays bring forth an off-white that is accented by an olive mini Swoosh at the lateral and “Jade Horizon” Swooshes on each side of the shoe. Extra stitching at the lateral Swoosh adds a hit of bright red to the pair while a darker red graces the snakeskin print of the tongue tag.
At the time of writing, Nike has not yet indicated when this “Year of the Snake” colorway of the Dunk Low will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including a full set of imagery, as we currently expect the sneaker to drop in early 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $125 USD.
