Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen has continued to shine in the spotlight with her ASICS projects that she’s showcased seasonally since 2022. Previously landing in our round-up of the 10 biggest footwear moments from the Fall/Winter 2024 runways, Bahnsen’s new ASICS GEL-TERRAIN collaboration is finally here.
The GEL-TERRAIN is one of ASICS’ newest models and has been the subject of several other collaborations, including with the likes of SAN SAN GEAR and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT. Now, with Cecilie Bahnsen, padded three-dimensional flowers adorn three monochromatic makeovers of red, brown and black. The shoe’s construction also features a ripstop mesh upper and a glossy finish that makes each pair pop.
For those interested in shopping Cecilie Bahnsen’s latest ASICS collaboration, the launch begins this weekend on September 7 at 41 Division in New York City, following the press preview scheduled for September 6. One colorway will be made available for sale each day from September 7 to September 9. Afterwards, Cecilie Bahnsen’s global launch of her three GEL-TERRAIN colorways will take place on October 16 via her website at a starting price of €230 EUR (approx. $255 USD).
