Harnessing its craftsmanship in industrial workwear, the built-to-last range also offers a handy solution to buying less footwear and reducing consumption as part of the brand’s full-circle environmental effort.
Durable yet statement-making, the contemporary Intruder sneaker provides the basis of this collection. In four different iterations – the Mecha, Galosh, Max, and Max Ignite – Cat Footwear shows how one signature silhouette can be tailored to different lifestyles. While the Max provides unmatched height through a double-stacked sole, the Mecha brings to life unique mechanical-inspired elements with robust, textural materials.
The crowd-winner in this collection, however, is the all-round Intruder Galosh. Perfectly showcasing the brand’s design approach, it presents a useful combination of technical components including a breathable mesh lining, waterproof upper, and rubberized mudguard. Through utilizing the classic sneaker makeup, each layer comes together to protect against the elements while also supporting long days on foot. The features seen across the upper arrive on top of the Intruder’s staple deep-ridged sole for ultimate functionality.
Rounding off the range is this season’s newly introduced Intruder Max Ignite. Similar to its predecessor, the Intruder Max, the bold silhouette features a thick sole but with the addition of a tractor-like tire tread. By focusing on this firm yet stylistically impactful base, Cat Footwear proposes a comfortable alternative for bulky trek boots, packing in all the features needed for trail walks and outdoor expeditions this winter.
