Carpet Company has linked up with Vans for a cross-coastal, multigenerational capsule that captures the essence of modern skate culture. The Baltimore-based skate brand brought the Californian imprint onto the team for their first-ever collaboration, whipping up three new takes on some of Vans’ classic skate sneaker silhouettes alongside a capsule of cobranded apparel.

The duo amalgamates their ethos on two reworked versions of the Skate Half Cab and one reimagined iteration of the Skate Cab 4 style. Each of the three pairs is engulfed in a faux croc skin – what Carpet Company refers to as “dragon leather” – layered atop premium leather, in homage to Steve Caballero’s dragon logo. The Skate Half Cab model surfaces in violet/marshmallow and black/marshmallow colorways, while the Skate Cab 4 arrives in all black and leans heavily into the dragon-scaled pattern. “Carpet Company sucks” is written on the foxing in Arabic lettering.

Take a closer look at the sneakers – complete with a Caballero cameo – in the gallery above. Apparel includes two t-shirts and a pair of matching socks.

While already sold out on Carpet Company’s official webstore, cop a pair at Carpet Company’s commemorative pop-up at the below address. Interested buyers can also expect the joints to land in select retailers shortly.
