LeBron James has made it clear that he would love to play alongside his son Bronny James in the NBA some day. With LeBron still putting up NBA All-Star-level numbers in his 21st season in the league, it’s definitely possible as Bronny is currently completing his required one year of university play with the University of Southern California’s (USC) men’s basketball squad.
While he may not be putting up the same caliber of stats as his father, Bronny is still catching the eye of the masses, and did so in grand fashion the other night when USC upset the #5 ranked University of Arizona while Bronny wore his own Nike LeBron NXXT Gen PE. Equipped with a white, red and gold arrangement that matches the USC Trojans’ signature colors, the pair notably reverses its lateral double Swooshes. On top of this, Bronny James’ signature is visible at the tongue of the sneaker while his number “6” is on display at the medial heel below a stitched “BRONNY” tag.
At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not shared details regarding Bronny James’ PE of the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen possibly receiving a regular retail release. However, as with most player-exclusives, it’s unlikely that this personal design for the son of King James will be made available to the public.
