At last, Bad Bunny’s first signature shoe with adidas is here. It’s been nearly half a year since the duo previewed the BadBo 1.0 at their collaborative archive pop-up in Puerto Rico. Now, we linked up with adidas to take an early in-hand look at what to expect from the new shoe.
As noted previously, the lead colorway features a brown and off-white composition that is inspired by the duo’s “The First Café” take on the Forum sneaker. Blue embroidery gives each pair a distinct number at the heel, from one to 1,994, nodding to the reggaeton superstar’s birth year. In a conversation with the designer, the model is inspired by ’90s sneakers and the three panels at each side represent the Three Stripes.
The 1,994 numbered pairs just dropped at a price of $160 USD on the Bad Bunny x adidas website. Looking ahead, an all-white pair is set to arrive next weekend. Stay tuned for additional updates as we continue to follow the rollout of Benito’s first signature shoe with the Three Stripes.
