Arc’teryx has unveiled its first-ever footwear collection that’s wholly designed in-house. Conceptualized and manufactured with the outdoors in mind, the collection features three key models in a neon yellow colorway: the Sylan, Vertex Alpine and Kragg.
The Sylan is a technical mountain runner that’s all about speed. Specifically engineered in a way to tackle elevation and rugged terrain, it’s equipped with a dual-density midsole and a prominent rocker-type silhouette, complete with Vibram Megagrip outsoles.
Also equipped with dual midsoles for comfort and stability, the Vertex Alpine model functions as an efficient mountain climber. Its uppers come in a Cordura material, while its outsoles employ Vibram’s XS Flash 2 technology for enhanced durability, all without compromising ease of movement as well as breathability.
Last but not least, the Kragg model focuses on recovery and quick mountain access. Spawned from the idea of how climbers often change into comfier shoes before and post treks, the model boasts a comfy, moccasin-esque slip-on silhouette that’s built for its purpose.
The collection will be officially released on March 6 via Arc’teryx.
