adidas and Pharrell Williams’ Humanrace are officially inviting runners to reimagine their daily routines with a brand-new extraterrestrial release. Dropping later this month, the collaborative duo has unveiled the Adizero EVO SL sneaker in a striking “Mars” colorway, accompanied by a matching performance apparel capsule designed to seamlessly blend purpose, wellness, and forward motion.
Drawing direct inspiration from the dust and rugged landscapes of the Red Planet, the “Mars” collection serves as a heartfelt tribute to the solar system. To bring this cosmic vision to life, the official campaign was shot in the Martian-like terrain of the Painted Hills in Oregon. The overarching narrative pushes the running community to view movement not just as a metric of distance, but as a mindful daily practice that generates energy, clarity, and balance.
Rooted heavily in the elite DNA of the Adios Pro EVO 1, the new Adizero EVO SL iteration is built specifically for everyday, purpose-led runners. The $160 sneaker features a high stack of full-length LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot, delivering a smooth and dynamic ride without relying on stiffening elements. Up top, an engineered mesh upper provides zone-specific support and enhanced breathability where athletes need it most.
Rounding out the drop is a matching two-piece apparel set built for the outdoors. The capsule includes a lightweight track jacket priced at $120, featuring an adjustable bottom and a slightly fitted cut that still allows for maximum mobility. Paired with the jacket are a set of breathable, loose-fitting mid-thigh shorts priced at $70 USD, completing the sleek and functional uniform.
The adidas x Humanrace “Mars” pack officially drops March 21 via adidas, the Confirmed App, and select retailers, with signups currently open.
