Summary

  • JJJJound and New Balance reunite for a Spring/Summer 2026 release

  • The collaboration focuses on the 475 silhouette in a stark black and white colorway

  • Key details include the studio’s branding stamped on the heel

JJJJound has officially teased its latest partnership with New Balance, offering a first look at a collaborative 475 model. Arriving as part of the Spring/Summer 2026 slate, the Montréal-based design studio continues its extensive run of minimalist reinterpretations, this time tackling the archival runner in a high-contrast execution.

Preliminary details regarding the release highlight a stripped-back aesthetic typical of the Justin Saunders-led imprint. The silhouette is presented in a “Black/White” colorway, maintaining a monochromatic and versatile appearance. While full technical specifications have yet to be disclosed, the design features the signature JJJJound logo placed prominently on the heel, marking the only major deviation from standard branding. The shoe features an all-black mesh and suede overlay upper with white highlighting the tongue, laces and midsole along with a black gum outsole. The project follows the studio’s established formula of elevating retro athletic footwear through tonal palettes and subtle identification.

The JJJJound x New Balance 475 is expected to release during the Spring/Summer 2026 season along with the rest of the apparel collection slated to arrive.
