After months of anticipation since rumors first surfaced in May 2025, the fragment design x Union LA x Air Jordan 1 High OG has finally been revealed through official images. Arriving in a striking “Varsity Red/Sport Royal” colorway, this collaboration reunites two of Jordan Brand’s most prestigious partners on a single silhouette.
The design masterfully fuses Union’s deconstructed aesthetic with the legendary 2014 fragment design x Air Jordan 1 color blocking. A classic “Black Toe” base is elevated by Fragment’s signature Royal Blue on the heel and outsole, while a Varsity Red collar provides a bold contrast. Distinctive gold leather piping outlines the panels, adding extra structural depth that complements Union’s iconic exposed stitching.
Notably, this blockbuster release is reported to be part of a three-piece footwear collection, which also includes more limited “Black/Sport Royal” and “White/Black” iterations. To round out the launch, a full range of co-branded apparel – including hoodies, mesh pieces and thermals – will accompany the footwear.
