Just last year, PUMA‘s Mostro model remained tucked away in the archives. Yet here we are, almost 12 months after the silhouette’s return to the footwear scene and it’s safe to say the sneaker’s comeback season has been a success. With previous colorways ranging from sleek monochromatic shades to vibrant red versions – the latter of which was spearheaded by A$AP Rocky himself – the once-archived Mostro is back again doused in a new pallette.
This time around, the silhouette surfaces in “PUMA Black” and “Wild Willow,” each of which is imbued with an all-over camouflage pattern. “PUMA Black” is a darker version of the sneaker while the equally neutral “Wild Willow” features some lighter hues.
The eye-catching shoe, which gets its name from the Italian word for “monster” – is defined by its striking spike detailing that surrounds its textured sole and offering a rather futuristic look. A strap crosses over the middle of the upper with velcro closure attached to each medial upper.
