Daiki Suzuki’s Engineered Garments is going from New York to Colorado as it teams up with Boulder-based boutique Canoe Club for a second time. The duo came together last November to create two versatile workwear silhouettes — the Club Coat and Fatigue Pants. Now, it’s time for the two to expand their partnership with a new outdoor-inspired range that sees four unique styles presented.

When it came time to design their latest capsule, Canoe Club looked to its local Colorado wilderness as a point of inspiration and ended up leaning on outdoor clothing from the ’70s to inform their designs. The Canoe Parka is a great example of this as it revisits the classic 60/40 poly/cotton blend (in 65/35 form this time) with a balance of water resistance and a precise draping of the silhouette. Its functionality continues with expanded front pockets that have a hidden side entry and raglan arms. Arriving in a bright blue “Sky,” as well as a soft brown “Dune,” the parkas are complemented by the Canoe Cap arriving in the same colorways thanks to its matching fabric. It prominently features co-branding in black at the front and is water resistant with six-panel construction. The Canoe Cross Crew Tee sports the same black co-branding, appearing at the chest of the white tee. Lastly, the Canoe FA Pant takes EG’s beloved FA Pant and alters the versatile pocket system by positioning it to pair perfectly with the shorter length of the aforementioned parka. Its roomy leg is constructed with an extra-washed and brushed cotton fabric that dons color options of a beige “Cloud” and an olive “Ivy.”

For those interested in shopping the latest project between Canoe Club and Engineered Garments, it is set to become available for pre-order on October 18 exclusively via Canoe Club. Prices begin at $80 USD for the Canoe Cap and $105 USD for the Canoe Cross Crew Tee. From there, the Canoe FA Pants are priced at $350 USD and the Canoe Light Parka will be available for $495 USD.
