As we take the plunge into October, colder weather looms on the horizon, and with that comes rain clouds a plenty. Thankfully, brands are continuing to find new ways to address the elements, with Vans doing so via its Made for The Elements (MTE) line. The California-based brand is back with a new silhouette for Fall/Winter 2024 — the MTE Crosspath — outfitting a familiar look with a variety of performance features.
Not only has Vans created the MTE Crosspath, but it also designed the MTE Crosspath Mid as another stylish sneaker solution for the outdoors. Both pairs are loaded with beloved Vans motifs — the Jazz Stripe, heel logo and a stitched tag at the midfoot — and take things to the next level by featuring seamless RAPIDWELD construction treated with a non-PFC DWR water-repellent coating, contoured insoles and a new traction pattern. As for the colorways, the low-top appears here in both “Bitter Chocolate Brown” and “Grey.” Meanwhile, the MTE Crosspath Mid takes on “Blue” and “Purple” looks.
For those interested in picking up a pair, the Vans MTE Crosspath and MTE Crosspath Mid are both available now in these colorways, plus many more, via Vans and select retailers at prices of $130 USD and $140 USD respectively. Stay tuned for updates as Vans continues to expand its Made for The Elements line with exciting new silhouettes.
