Los Angeles-based brand Bricks & Wood announced that it would be teaming up with New Balance for a third time at the start of the year. After many teasers, it’s finally time for the duo’s project — the New Balance 1906U “Echoes of a Butterfly” — to arrive on shelves.
The idea for the colorful arrangement “reflects the idea that even the smallest actions can create far-reaching, unexpected consequences,” akin to the butterfly effect. Its vibrant upper begins with a black base and is joined by yellow, green, mint, orange and pink detailing throughout its overlays. To top it all off, “BRICKS & WOOD” branding can be spotted at the lateral heel in pink, matching the butterfly symbol present at the tongue.
Release for the Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U “Echoes of a Butterfly” is set to begin on October 12 exclusively via Bricks & Wood. From there, a global launch via New Balance and select retailers will take place on October 18.
