We’re just months away from a new year, one that is sure to excite sneakerheads around the world as Jordan Brand gears up to celebrate 40 years of the Air Jordan 1. While the Jumpman team has not officially clued us into any of its plans to commemorate the milestone, we already have some idea as to what we can expect in 2025. For starters, it’s likely that the postponed launch of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Black Toe Reimagined” will take place next year after it was originally set to drop in just a few weeks. On top of this, rumors have indicated everything from a $1,000 USD Swarovski x Air Jordan 1 Low OG to the return of the high-top “Shattered Backboard” colorway.
Adding to the list, a new report from Sneaker Files notes that a “Black/Summit White” pair is being readied to release in 2025. While we lack a first look at the pair (it is depicted via mock-up above), and the color blocking remains unknown, it is said to sport a combination of “Black,” “Black” and “Summit White.”
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that a “Black/Summit White” version of the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be releasing next year. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the pair, as we currently expect it to drop on June 30 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at the typical starting price of $180 USD.
