It’s an exciting time for Kyrie Irving as he not only readies himself for the NBA Finals against his former team in the Boston Celtics, but his footwear releases with ANTA continue to stand out as some of the basketball scene’s most notable. With several ANTA KAI 1 launches under his belt, and a myriad of additional pairs teased on the court during this year’s NBA Playoffs, it has now been revealed that he has another sneaker on the way, one that is designed for lifestyle use.
An initial look at the ANTA KAI Tribe sneaker recently surfaced, unveiling what to expect from the duo’s follow-up project to the KAI 1. Its low-top build looks to utilize a mixed material upper that has so far appeared in black and white colorways. Both pairs are backed by a sizable sole unit in off-white while key branding elements are delivered at the heel tab, lateral midfoot and just below the lacing system.
At the time of writing, neither Kyrie Irving nor ANTA have discussed their new ANTA KAI Tribe lifestyle sneaker. Stay tuned for an official reveal as the design is expected to make its debut this fall via ANTA and select retailers at a currently-unknown price point.
