Earlier on in the season, Supreme announced its latest collaborative capsule with Nike. After dropping a special three-volume catalog set that looks back to its T-shirt archives in the past three decades, the New York imprint is back with its another collaborative release with Nike. This time around, the two brands have come together to reimagine the Nike SB silhouette in four fresh Darwin Low iterations.
First released in 1994, the Nike Air Darwin sneaker was the first model to feature a backward Swoosh logo. While the original boasted a leather build, the new iteration with Supreme arrives in a canvas upper with contrast branding.
The white colorway pays tribute to the original 1994 White/Teal/Black version in a similar palette, swapping the dark teal hue with a light blue. The color accentuates the shoe in the form of nylon webbing eyelets, tongue labels, embroidery at the eyestay as well as an appliqué logo on the heel. What makes the shoe truly pop is the incorporation of black accents that are prominently applied on the Phylon midsole, rubber outsole, leather and fleece collar as well as the tongue lining.
Aside from white, the sneaker is offered in chartreuse, black and Supreme’s seasonal camo print for Spring 20234. The new collaborative Nike SB Darwin Low sneakers will be available to shop starting May 2 in the U.S. via Supreme’s webstore. Following this, they will be officially launched in the Asia region on May 4.
