In continuing adidas’ creative streak on the Gazelle silhouette, the brand has now unveiled a new collaborative take on the model with atmos.
Boasting the model’s signature retro appeal, the Gazelle 85 is reimagined with a patchwork design. Rendered in a collegiate palette of gray, sand beige, ochre yellow, hickory brown and navy blue, the upper is a combination of suede and leather in a mix of finishes. Punctuating this collage of colors is a splash of white in the form of contrasting zigzag stitchings, leather heel counter as well as adidas’ hallmarked Three Stripes.
Adding a touch a slightly juxtaposing touch to the neutral-coded upper, the tongue and inner lining are doused in navy blue, while the Trefoil logo comes in metallic gold. To complement the vachetta tan suede heel counter, toe tip and eyestay, the shoe laces and gum rubber soles arrive in a tonal sand beige hue.
Retailing at $120 USD, the Gazelle 85 “Patchwork” is currently shoppable via adidas in select regions and will be available soon in North America.
