The Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” is slated to make its long-awaited return this spring. One of the most significant shoes in history, the fourth signature sneaker from Michael Jordan was originally released in 1989. Now, for its 35th anniversary, the shoe is making a comeback. Different from the 2012 release, the 2024 release will see the show take on the original design — the first time since 1989.
The retro release sees the classic off-white, military blue and neutral grey color scheme. The shoe is constructed with an off-white leather upper featuring overlays in grey around the toe box. The eyelets, midsole, heel tabs as well as the Jumpman branding on the tongues is accented in military blue. The “NIKE AIR” branding on the heel is highlighted in white while it sits atop a white, blue and grey outsole to round out the shoe.
Look out for the OG return of the Air Jordan 4 “Military Blue” arriving in select retailers and online at Nike this spring on May 4, as initially intended, for $215 USD.
