Nike prepares for Air Max Day 2024 with the unveiling of the Air Max 1 ’86 in “Royal.”
The model takes on a look that’s similar to the “Air Max Day” iteration (which was previously seen on-foot thanks to LeBron James), but switches out its neon “Volt” midsoles with white. The classic “Royal” colorway is crafted with a white mesh base and suede overlays in gray and blue, while branding details can be spotted on the panel swoosh, Nike tongue tag, embroidered Nike Air heel logo and the Nike Air-stamped insoles. A visible heel unit cuts through the white midsole, while white laces tie the shoe together for a clean finish.
