The deep connection to the classic football boot is immediately evident in the Air Max 90’s aggressive color blocking. A vibrant “Bright Citrus” orange dominates the majority of the upper, sharply contrasted by slicing black overlays. Pushing the homage even further, Nike meticulously incorporated a lightly dimpled texture across the upper to directly mimic the strike-zone pattern found on the original cleats.
