Nike Basketball and Kevin Durant are back to unveil the next chapter of the superstar’s signature athlete journey with the introduction of the KD19. Built with equal attention to head-turning style and on-court dominance, the visually striking 19th signature shoe is engineered to deliver ultimate responsiveness, supreme comfort, and elite containment for the next generation of hoopers.

Leaning heavily into Durant’s infamous “Slim Reaper” persona, the upper is defined by a bold exterior TPU dagger. This distinctive shape is achieved through an innovative dual-injection process: the first injection creates the molding for critical heel and midfoot lockdown, while the second forms the aggressive dagger aesthetic. A breathable textile tongue and KD-specific details—such as a combination of his 35 and 7 jersey numbers stamped on the outsole—round out the shoe’s sleek upper profile.

Underfoot, the KD19 boasts a multilayered cushioning system built around the highly anticipated return of the full-length Zoom Strobel, a pinnacle Nike Basketball technology first introduced in the fan-favorite KD12. This innovation is paired seamlessly with a 3D-molded sock liner, a plush Cushlon 3.0 midsole, and a midfoot shank that ensures standout stability from buzzer to buzzer.

“Across basketball, few players are as smooth or as dangerous from anywhere on the court as Kevin Durant,” noted Ross Klein, VP and Creative Director of Nike Basketball. “The KD19 embodies that edge: visually distinct, built for instant responsiveness and all-game comfort, helping players get to any spot and knock down any shot.” The resulting silhouette reflects Nike’s unparalleled commitment to listening to the voices of athletes—from the EYBL to the professional leagues—to create the future of basketball footwear.

The Nike KD19 will be available exclusively via SNKRS on June 13, 2026, followed by a global launch on June 17.
